Dosing chart madness!

Those numbers seem way too high to me I always say, start with a small amount and increase slowly. Pharma companies would LOVE that chart, you'd spend a fortune! I started at 1mg a week and now take 500mcg three times a week. Works great for me. Maybe some need more, but always begin cautiously and only increase as needed.

I'm still learning about GLP versions. What's a generally accepted approach for dosing? My provider increases doses slowly, which I figured was for safety but also probably to make more money. Is there a middle ground? Also, I'm even less familiar with triple antagonist amounts versus standard GLP alone.

I've been searching for a dosing chart that follows medical study guidelines, but they seem hard to find. I think the best approach is to start as low as possible and increase as slowly as you can. Even the medical studies might use slightly elevated doses to maximize results.

Week 7, they're injecting 2ml... so you'd need a 3cc syringe with a 23 or 25g needle? Might as well use that last ml for something else. Unbelievable!

Everyone is different and will react differently. Most sensible people start with a low dose and only increase it when they don't feel the effects anymore. Don't follow a chart or a set plan. Listen to your body.

The clinical trial used five doses, increasing every four weeks: 2 mg, 4 mg, 6 mg, 9 mg, and 12 mg. But other researchers I know start lower and find the results they want by topping out at only 2 or 4 mg.

I can just imagine someone constantly running to the bathroom! Low and slow is definitely the way to go. Increase the dose too quickly and you might get side effects you didn't have before.

Exactly. I wouldn't ever want to be more aggressive than the recommended dosages. Taking less or increasing more slowly? Okay. Taking more? Not a chance.

I started at 1mg for a month, and now I'm at 2mg for another month. Then I'll decide if I need to go up to 4mg or stay where I am, depending on how it's going.

Goodness! I know everyone's different, but you should at least wait a couple of weeks or a month to see how you're responding to a dose and NOT automatically increase it. I began at 2, went up to 6, and I'm now back down to 2.5mg. I might even need to decrease that!

Reta goes to 12mg and isn't even approved yet, so you're gonna go to 20mg after 7 weeks? You could inject that with 40 units instead of 200 (2ml), which is two full diabetic syringes...
