Down 100+ lbs, off meds 6 months!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
I stopped waiting for my doctor's approval. Was on four blood pressure meds when I started tirzepatide. Checked my BP several times daily, adjusting my lifestyle to keep readings around 110-120/60-70. Over six months, my weight dropped and BP came down. Now I'm medication-free at 105/70. Six-month check-ins worked for me.

The pace does feel slow watching others drop huge numbers fast. Most of us are more like one pound weekly, and thats actually healthier for keeping it off long term. Appreciate posts like yours.

truly life-changing. lost about 100lbs, way better than i hoped. got me into healthy BMI range. weight finally stabilized so i'm lowering my dose. if rashes develop under belly flap, get them documented. insurance won't pay for skin removal without documented issues not responding to treatment.

Reta and Tirz across 10 months down 100 lbs, then 6 months off and holding - the cravings returning 'not like before' is the real indicator that the habits held. That's the test the active phase was building toward.

Flat and low enjoyment for the first 2 months at 0.25 and staying at lowest dose until it passed is the patient version of working through the early adjustment period. The OP who is 6 months off meds and maintaining is the outcome everyone hopes for. The cravings coming back sometimes but not like before is what the medication hopefully changes about the underlying pattern even after stopping.

71 to 56 in that window is a solid result. The fact that you held it for months before going back means the habits stuck longer than average. Going back now before a bigger regain is the right instinct - catching it early keeps the work you put in from getting away.

Dropped 100 and held stable for 18 months is actually a really strong maintenance window. The snacking creeping back while staying active is a familiar pattern - the activity level is one of the things that helps offset what the medication was doing on the intake side when you come off it.

That's fantastic! Similar story here, dropped 3 of the 5 pounds I'd put back on within just two days. Honestly think the routine and trust in the process is what's making the real difference now.

Ended up gaining it all back. Tried to hold onto how I was eating, but the cravings and mental chatter came roaring back eventually. Had lost 80 pounds and it only took three or four months to regain every bit of it. Absolutely crushing.
