Almost a year ago, I started on semaglutide. It was springtime, and everything changed for me. I found this community soon after and saw someone's post about hitting that 'One-something' milestone. I honestly thought that would NEVER be me again. Well, I'm only about 7 pounds away from being under 200! I just wanted to tell all the newbies here - if I can do this, so can you! And the dress I'm wearing in my 'after' pic is a size 8 - I can't believe it!!!!

That's amazing, great job!

I started my journey in January at 314, and I'm currently at 294. While your progress is inspiring, I'd be thrilled to reach that point in two years! Since it seems we started at a similar weight, how is your skin handling the weight loss?

I'm also curious about this. I'm starting to see some changes already, and I'm wondering how to prepare for more.

What are you doing about loose skin? Any tips to avoid it?

That's a great question! I've been focusing on staying hydrated, which seems to help with skin elasticity. Also, strength training has been part of my routine – not sure if it helps directly, but it definitely makes me feel better!

I had a funny thing happen... I was so excited to fit into some pants I hadn't been able to wear in ages, but I've already gone past the size where they fit! Guess I'll have to go clothes shopping again. Down about 40lbs since I started a few months ago!

I've noticed a huge difference in my skin just from prioritizing water intake over sugary drinks. It's pretty wild! I used to pretty much only drink coffee and soda, but switching to mainly water has had such a positive effect. I've lost a few pounds but the biggest change is how my skin looks!
