Down 100lbs & holding steady!

I started this journey at 250 pounds. Around 190 I got a prescription for a GLP-1, and now I've been holding steady for a year! My heaviest was 250, so that's 130 total pounds lost, and a lot of that is thanks to GLP-1s. I'm a type 1 diabetic, and I was so insulin resistant. I kept gaining no matter what I did for diet or exercise. Now my insulin needs are way lower, and that's what got the scale finally moving.

Congrats on your success! You look amazing! 120 is my target too. What's your diet look like in maintenance mode instead of weight loss mode? And does your current dose still help with cravings?

Thanks, everyone!

I still try to eat healthy but I'm not as strict. Cravings are definitely still managed by my current dose. How is everyone else that is maintaining their weight doing?

Aside from the obvious size difference, your arms in the before pic are really eye-opening! I hope you feel so much healthier!

I'm curious about how people figure out their macros. I'm trying to lift weights now, but I'm struggling with the diet aspect.

I can share what I do but what works for me might not work for you. I track my macros everyday and lift 3x a week.

I saw something about a subreddit the community for people who have stopped taking the medication. Might be useful for people who want to maintain?
