Okay, so I kinda went crazy and dropped almost half my starting weight! What's changed? Well, existing doesn't hurt anymore, my thighs don't rub together, I can walk to the shops without being out of breath, and, OMG, I'm actually wearing a freaking swimsuit this year on vacation! And did I mention no more chafing?!?

On the downside, bye-bye boobs, and my bank account is crying from all the new clothes. 😭

Okay, I have questions!

1. How in the world did you avoid loose skin?
2. How old are you?
3. How long were you taking that medication?
4. Did you work out?
5. What was your calorie intake like?

Wow, I'm floored! This is giving me so much hope. I've lost about 50lbs so far and want to lose another 40-ish, and your starting point is really close to mine. Hoping my results are as awesome as yours!

Our starting and goal weights are really similar, but I'm not even halfway there. I'm curious how long it took you to reach your goal? Sometimes I worry about whether I can actually make it.

You're so lucky! I've lost about 90 pounds, but my stomach is a mess of loose skin. My arms and inner thighs, too. I was hoping I wouldn't get it since I wasn't that big to begin with, but here we are! Now I have a new thing to hate about my body, lol.

Oh sweetie, you look amazing! I'm aiming for the same weight as you. I'm halfway there after 6 months on my meds. I wish my stomach looked like yours! But I'm in my 50's so it's unlikely. Enjoy your new body! What is your height?

1. I think slow and steady wins the race! I also moisturized a lot. 2. I'm in my early 40s. 3. A little over a year. 4. Yes, walked a lot and some light weights. 5. Around 1500-1700 calories.

Congrats!! Did you increase your dose every month, or did you stay at some doses longer? Thanks!

It's generally recommended to follow your doctor's titration schedule. Don't rush increasing the dose. Listen to your body!

It's amazing how much weight can impact A1c levels too. Mine went from 7.8 to 6.0 on a similar medication. So important for our health!
