Hi everyone! 26F, 5'8". Started at 192 lbs, now 182.5 lbs, hoping to get to 160 lbs. Six weeks on this med and I'm thrilled! Started on Jan 21st. I've been taking 0.25 mg weekly for six weeks. Had a bit of tummy trouble after the first couple of doses, but nothing since. My doctor suggested staying at 0.25 mg since it's working and I'm tolerating it well. If I keep losing weight at this dose, I'll stick with it until I plateau.

I haven't been counting every calorie precisely, but I'm making a conscious effort to eat more protein. I only weigh myself maybe twice a week, trying not to become obsessed. But, seeing those numbers go down is motivating!

Beyond the scale, my boyfriend keeps telling me how great I look, which is a nice boost. And I tried on all my jeans last night, and all of them fit! Even two pairs that were too small last year. My size 12 jeans are actually loose, haha.

The constant craving thoughts have quieted significantly. I used to think about my next meal all day at work, but now it's just around meal times. I feel so much more confident already. I struggled to lose weight for the past few years, and the scale just kept going up. I finally feel like I'm getting back to my fun, confident self!

Great info, thanks for posting. I've heard the 6mg and 12mg results are pretty comparable, so I'm curious how your levels hold up when you make that switch in a few weeks. Would love to hear how it goes for you!

Yesss girl!! I had my 6th dose a couple of days ago and I'm already down 13 pounds. So glad your boyfriend is so supportive, it makes a difference when you have that encouraging voice!

10 lbs in six weeks is awesome progress. A consistent rate of loss is the best strategy for most people. I've experienced something similar since starting. Keep it up!

Hey @Quirky_Goals, have you noticed any changes in your face? I think my face looks slimmer and more defined already.

That's a good question @Funky-King! I haven't really noticed anything in my face yet, to be honest. I've been so focused on the scale and clothes fitting better. Maybe I'll take some before/after pics to compare!

Good question, @Vinnie33. I haven't been working out any more than usual, mainly just walking. So I'd say the weight loss is mostly due to the medication suppressing my appetite and cravings.

10 pounds in 6 weeks is ahead of the typical early curve. The 6mg vs 12mg research point is worth holding onto - dosing higher than needed is where a lot of the unnecessary side effects come from. Looks like you have already done the reading to stay smart about this.
