Down 120, 10 more!

Female, 5'10, 30, started at 278 and six months later I'm 264. I've got Type 2, PCOS, and insulin resistance all going at once. Just started 2mg last week. Does anyone else in my situation actually make it to their goal? I want 180 but right now it feels impossible. The good news is my A1C went from 9.8 to 6.3, so at least I'm not diabetic anymore. Just hoping the weight loss picks up.

120 down and 10 to go - you're in the closing stretch. The paint metaphor is exactly right. People who haven't carried that kind of weight don't have a frame of reference for what it actually does to the body every day. Ten more pounds and then the whole maintenance chapter starts. What does the rest of the journey look like for you?

120 down with 10 to the goal is the kind of stretch where the math looks different - a full paint drum is a useful way to frame what's actually gone.
