Started on a GLP-1 back in January of 2023, and it's totally flipped my life around.

Stats:
Height: 5'4''
Age: 31

Then:
Jan '23
337 lbs
Loved working out
Totally messed up relationship with food
Constant binge eating

Now:
July '25
215 lbs
Still love the gym, but it's way easier now
Working on fixing things with food
Don't binge, and I don't think about food all the time

I've still got more to go before I'm happy with my weight. I'd love to get down to 160, but I'm not going to get hung up on the number. I'm into lifting weights, so I know the scale might not tell the whole story. I just want to feel good and listen to my body.

I'm still figuring out my relationship with food. I'm not ready to stop the meds yet, I need to be sure I can keep losing weight. I don't know how long I'll need them, but I'm going to wait until I feel ready.

It's been a slow, steady thing. I think because I've been losing at a good pace for over a year and a half, I don't have a ton of loose skin. I might end up with some more, but so far, so good!

You look amazing! Congrats on sticking with it. You look great in both pics, but I bet you feel better now.

I started at 200 and got down to 140 last year. I'm 5'3" and I was happy there. I stopped taking my meds because of the cost and gained back 20, so I'm back on them. The food noise came back so strong. I took my first shot Saturday and I already feel so much better.

Slow and steady wins the race. Good luck to you and everyone else on their journey! We've got this!

Awesome! I'll bet you're feeling better too! I've only lost about 30 pounds since February of '25, but I feel so much better inside and out.

For those dealing with loose skin, check with your insurance. Some plans will cover skin removal surgery after significant weight loss.
