Down 130 pounds! So grateful!

Started this thing back in January '23, hit 345 on the scale. Today? I'm at 215!!!! My pants went from a size 55 to a 38. I’ll admit, I didn’t hit the weights hard enough at first, so there's some loose skin. Small price to pay. Before, I couldn't even tie my shoes, or get a full breath. Now I can sleep, walk, even RUN. My A1C dropped from 7 to 5.6, and the doc took me off one of my blood pressure meds. Feeling SO damn good. If you're just starting out, stick with it! Imagine the end result! I'm gonna be 48 and thriving. God bless!

That's an amazing transformation! You seem so much happier. I'm in my second month and I've dropped about 20 pounds already. Only 35 more to go! And my leg pain from lipedema is way down. I'm actually excited to exercise every day. It's crazy what these meds can do.

I'm wrapping up my first month and I'm blown away by how my appetite has changed. No more constant cravings! Can't wait to see what happens next month. Never thought I'd be near my goal so fast after struggling ALL year.

Wow! What a transformation! You look incredible. I'm so happy for you! I had my first injection a few days ago and I'm excited to see what happens. Not feeling awesome right now, but here's hoping it gets better soon!

Crushing it! Well done. Also, when you start lifting focus less on the scale and more on your measurements. When I started lifting heavier my weight went up but my waist kept shrinking.

Fantastic....isn't it great? A true blessing. Thanks for sharing....Unfortunately my discount card jumped to $650 a month, up $100 from this year. I had to stop taking my dose. My doctor prescribes it, but insurance won't cover it. I'm getting Zepbound from a compounding pharmacy, but the dose is too low, and I have all the cravings back. I'm freaking out. Not sure what to do...After being overweight my entire life, I've managed to lose about 80 pounds over the last 17 months. I still need to lose another 25 pounds. I'm going to look into Medicare since I'm still working full time and have insurance through my job. I was only pre-diabetic so I don't qualify otherwise.

I'm starting to worry about the loose skin thing... I'm down 20lbs already but still have a ways to go. Anyone have tips for preventing it, or is surgery the only way?

From what I've read, staying hydrated and using moisturizing creams can help a bit, but genetics play a big role. Building muscle underneath might fill it out too. Surgery is usually the only way to really correct it, though.

I've found that as I've lost weight, I'm wearing less makeup! It just feels more effortless to look good now. I think it's partially mental -- more confidence = less stress = better skin ✨

Amazing progress, everyone! Remember to focus on overall health, not just the numbers. Get enough sleep, manage stress, and listen to your body.
