Still got a ways to go since I started out pretty heavy. Currently taking 12.5 mg and sticking to around 1200 calories a day. Between therapy and this medication, Mounjaro, the constant mental battle with food cravings is finally quieting down. Feeling optimistic about a consistent and healthier 2025!

I've had diabetes for over 5 decades and somehow made it past 70. My doctor prescribed Mounjaro a while back to help manage my glucose levels. Along with a CGM and pump, I've managed to get my A1C down to 5.6, which is amazing. I didn't know about the potential weight loss (I was completely in the dark). I've dropped around 70 pounds from what I thought was a pretty good weight. Now I think I might even make it to 80! It's all so strange, but now I realize it's also used for weight loss, which is incredible. Hopefully, they'll come up with a drug that cures cancer next.

I saw someone mention they stopped drinking after starting their GLP-1 and now they can barely eat. Anyone else experience that?

Yeah, I've heard that some people experience a big change in appetite after quitting drinking on these meds. Maybe try setting alarms to remind yourself to eat small meals throughout the day? Electrolyte drinks help too!

I read about someone else who had substance abuse issues in their past and found these medications to be a real "game changer". It's amazing how much these drugs can help people on multiple levels. Congrats to everyone on their improved health, physical and mental!
