Down 14 lbs — feeling great!

I swear, after I hit 35, getting rid of any weight felt impossible. I was trying everything – strict diets, hitting the gym like crazy, and still nothing. I started on semaglutide maybe half a year ago, and I'm down a total of 18 pounds now. Here are some before and after shots at the 14 pound mark. I'm so happy. Finally at my goal!

You look great! I'm kinda built like you but I'm 50-something and can't shake the weight I've put on over the last decade. I just did my first injection today. So excited!!!

Fantastic! 🙌 I wish I had this when I was only a little overweight 10 years back. I commend anyone using sema to feel better about themselves. It's cool if some of us have a LOT to lose, that shouldn't make anyone else's journey less valid. I'll cheer on everyone getting the results they're after! Everyone's journey is valid.

My BMI was considered overweight, not obese, when my doctor suggested sema to me. Being proactive is better than being reactive. Should she wait until she's obese before doing something? I packed on 25 pounds in a year because of medication. A year ago, I was 130 pounds and felt great. Now I'm 155. My labs showed that gaining that much weight that fast was unhealthy. So, now I'm on my way back to 130 because that's what's healthiest FOR ME. Don't judge thinner people so quickly, especially if you don't know their history. Sounds like some haters.

What's your dosage? How long did it take to drop those 14lbs? I have the same goal... I want to lose around 15 pounds. I'm on a low dose but I'm not sure if that's the way to go. Haven't lost anything yet.

This is awesome to see! Love this whole comment section. I’m 39F and currently 165 (5’7) and starting 💉 tomorrow and am also feeling a bit ashamed since I only have 15-20 lbs to lose. I gained around 10lbs in the past year and can never seem to get lower than 155.

That’s amazing!! It’s crazy how even 14 pounds can make such a visible difference—you look fantastic! I totally get how difficult it can be once you're in your 30s… the struggle is real. So happy semaglutide worked for you, and huge congrats on reaching your goal weight! 🎉 You deserve to feel this good 💪💖

I was on 1mg for most of it but started seeing results at 0.5mg, those first few pounds came off quick in like a month!

I understand the people who are wary because of how expensive it is, but I'm actually saving money on groceries and takeout, so I might even come out ahead this year! I'm eating so much less.

For those of you just starting out, don't get discouraged if the weight doesn't come off immediately! Even a 5% loss of body weight can make a big difference in your health. Keep at it! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Exactly! It's a marathon, not a sprint. Gradual change is more sustainable anyway!
