Hey everyone! Nov 2023, I picked up my meds and signed up at the local gym on the same day. I was 439lbs, and now I'm down to 294. I've been lifting weights at least 5 times a week and upped my dose to 12.5mg around 3 weeks ago. Feeling great!
Hey A_Thin_New_Me, it's definitely a journey, but stick with it. I started on a low dose and slowly increased it based on how I felt. I'm on 12.5mg right now, but everyone is different! Don't get discouraged if you don't see results right away. Strength training makes a HUGE difference too!
I'm so encouraged by these stories! I've dropped about 45 pounds myself and it's helped me sleep and feel less out of breath. The food noise is finally quiet!
