That's fantastic! 👏🏻 I went from 313 to 235 with diet and exercise, and then down to 166 with semaglutide. You're a real inspiration! Can't wait to see the before and after pics from your surgery!

Congrats on such a big accomplishment! I'm curious, FreshLog, have you had your A1C levels checked? That might be helpful in deciding if a GLP-1 med is the right choice for you.

I started using Ozempic almost a year ago, and it's made a huge difference in my life. I developed some bad eating habits during the pandemic and gained a noticeable amount of weight. Previously I was an XL, now I was an XXL-XXXL.

The only negative side effect I've experienced is constipation. My insurance covers most of the cost, and I'm only using it for weight loss purposes. No other medical conditions.

That's great to hear! I've lost about 8kg since starting in February. What dosage are you currently on?

It's amazing to see how many people are having success with these meds! I've been on Ozempic for two years now, and I've only managed to shed about 30 pounds. Apparently, as a male with type 2 diabetes, it's not as effective for me.

I've been eating very little - a small granola bar for breakfast, protein shake for lunch, a normal dinner, and maybe a small snack later on. I'm eating way fewer calories than before, but the scale hasn't budged in a year. I've been stuck at 242.
