Down 150! But summer's coming...

The before pic isn't even my heaviest, it's after dropping maybe 25 lbs, wish I had one from peak weight. My compression garments are doing overtime hiding the extra skin, not sure how I'll manage in a bathing suit.

Was on 2mg of Ozempic, but switched to Mounjaro last fall 'cause of the shortages. Now I'm on 10mg of Mounjaro, but thinking about going down to 7.5mg 'cause weight loss is slowing and my bloodwork is perfect. Aiming to stabilize, not lose more.

What else are you doing? I've been on Ozempic for 6 months and only lost 14 pounds. It's like I'm stuck on the same 5 pounds, up and down. My insurance covers Ozempic, maybe another one. I'm on Medicaid, any tips would be awesome! Also, I feel so down, just want to stay in bed all day.

@Scale_Jail_Break, there are amazing bathing suits with tummy control. They are expensive but worth it. And you are too!! Congrats on your progress

They need to study this for PCOS and cover it! Metformin does ZIP for my insulin resistance, and I'm not diabetic yet, so insurance won't pay. I can't lose weight, no matter how little I eat or how much I exercise. It's like doctors only care about fertility when it comes to women's health.

You look INCREDIBLE! How did you keep your boobs? Mine are so sad now. I think half the 40lbs I lost was my boobs!

I hear you so much. It's infuriating when effective treatments are gatekept. Have you looked into any patient assistance programs or appeals processes with your insurance? Sometimes it's a battle, but worth fighting.

It is important to have a good diet, hydration schedule and some kind of physical activity. Even a 20 min walk a day can make a difference. And please look into your mental health, a therapist might be able to assist you.

I have to ask, we started around the same size. Did your chest shrink? I'm dying for mine to get smaller. They are still huge and I'm struggling to fit them in clothes that otherwise fit perfectly.

Yeah, they definitely got smaller, unfortunately not as much as I'd hoped, but definitely smaller. Everything is just... smaller. Except the loose skin, lol.
