I am seriously amazed by this medicine. I've struggled with my weight forever, and now I'm not constantly thinking about food. It feels so liberating! I'm excited to keep going and become the best version of myself!

Starting weight: 238
Current weight: 217.4
Height: 5'5"

Some of my favorite foods right now:

- Greek yogurt with unsweetened applesauce and mixed berries
- Tuna mixed with cottage cheese (instead of mayo) and chopped dill pickles on a rye crispbread
- Smoothie: protein powder, mango chunks, baby spinach, raspberries, almond butter
- Baked Salmon
- Quinoa salad with olives, diced tomato, crumbled feta, and cucumber

I'm avoiding:
- Beer/wine, candy, pastries, deep-fried stuff

These things actually make me feel a bit sick, so avoiding temptation is easier!

I'm not doing intense workouts, but I try to take a walk every day!

I also like to treat myself for every 10lbs I lose. I have rewards planned for the next 50lbs. Next up is a new hairstyle!

Good luck, everyone! Patience is key; we're all in this together!

Did you have any weeks where the scale didn't budge at all? I'm about to take my third shot, and my weight loss has really slowed down.

Are you eating enough, or are you just eating as little as possible? I'm eating a lot less, but I've only lost a few pounds in 2 months. I'm not sure how much less I could eat and still be healthy.

Congrats! I'm thinking about starting injections. I lost over 100lbs a while back when I was living overseas. But I've gained back about 70 pounds since I moved back and had a sports injury. It's so much harder to manage my weight here. Your post is giving me some hope.

I'm on week seven and have barely lost anything, maybe 2 lbs!. I'm working out with weights almost every day and still nothing is coming off. I had gastric sleeve surgery, so I can't eat a ton. I KNOW I'm not overeating! I'm feeling pretty discouraged! I've tried everything at this point.

That’s awesome. Here’s another good meal idea:

1 cup quinoa + 2 tablespoons lentil soup + green salad mix on top (kale is good) and salt and pepper.

Don't give up! Sometimes the scale doesn't reflect everything that's happening. Are your clothes fitting differently? Maybe you're gaining muscle. Keep at it!

I've heard some people on GLP-1s suddenly crave sweets even if they didn't before. My theory is that your body is trying to make up for the calorie deficit by craving sugar. Anyone else experience this?

I've been eating a lot of Greek yogurt and fruit. Feels easier to eat than meat sometimes!

If those sugar cravings get bad, maybe try something small like a cup of coffee with sugar-free creamer. It sometimes works for me. Also, I've found that protein shakes and Greek yogurt make it easy to hit my protein goals.
