Down 30+ lbs! Feeling myself again!

Hi everyone! 41F, 5'6". Started at 207, heaviest was 213, and now I'm 176.

It's still hard to see a huge difference when I look in the mirror, but my clothes definitely fit differently! My jeans are practically falling off! So happy! My goal is around 150, give or take. I feel like I'm finally getting my body back. I gained weight over the past 5 years because of stress.

I just went up to 1.7mg, and it's been a little tough. Nausea in the mornings a couple of times a week. No more than a tiny bit of chocolate for me, I guess. Big meals are a no-go. But it's worth it to feel good again. I haven't really started exercising yet, but I want to. And it's easier to move around now! Who knew carrying less weight would make a difference?! 😂

Good luck to everyone! 😘

I started at 229 and was 199 last night! Since November 5th. One more injection at 1mg, then up to 1.5mg in 2 weeks. Trip in about five weeks. Hoping for 190! I bet the difference is noticeable!

You look amazing!

I get a little dizzy with nausea, so I eat protein peanut butter/oatmeal balls with probiotics from Costco. They help a lot. Also, a tsp of organic peanut butter sometimes. Helps me.

Good luck!

Looking great! Keep it up!

Just so you know, I hit my goal weight (125 lbs, I'm 5'0") right before Thanksgiving. I stopped the shots before Thanksgiving because of travel, but I've kept losing weight. Maybe talk to your doctor about lowering the dose as you get closer to your goal. I wish I had lowered mine a month earlier. But definitely talk to your doctor – this is just me!

You look really good. Keep it up.

Try to get about 20g of protein in each meal and eat that first. Chicken, etc. Protein keeps you full longer. And add strength training to keep the muscle you have.

How does your hair look better, even? Mine is falling out!

Make sure you're getting enough protein - that can impact hair loss. Also biotin supplements help some people, but check with your provider before starting anything new.

I can so relate to that 'feeling like yourself' thing. I lost about 45 pounds since last year and it feels amazing. Like I got my old life back, you know? I can actually sleep well now, no more snoring!

That's awesome! The sleep improvement is HUGE. It's amazing how much better you feel overall when you're not constantly exhausted.
