Down 30lbs! Seeing a new me?

Almost a year in and I think I'm finally seeing the difference. I'm down about 30lbs. Hard to believe it's real sometimes. Anyone else feel like they're imagining things, or is that just me?

Awesome progress! If you are at the same spot in both pics, your hips are way smaller!

You're doing great! I'm curious, has anyone else experienced body dysmorphia while on this medication? Maybe measuring the changes could help you see the difference objectively?

You're not dreaming. It's absolutely noticeable. Keep up the great work! You look amazing!

I would recommend reaching out for professional help if you are having dysmorphia, it may help. Take measurements regularly, you will see the loss.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's dealt with these mixed feelings. It's nice to know I'm not alone! I was on a low dose for a long time and I felt fine, but now that my doctor upped the dose, I'm all over the place. It's been an awful year, and I'm already on an antidepressant, so I'm talking to the prescribing doctor. Feeling kinda crazy.

It's good you're connecting with your doctor, Toni_1977. It's important to monitor mood changes, especially with dosage adjustments. Also, Vitamin D deficiencies can sometimes exacerbate depression, and GLP-1s can sometimes indirectly lower your Vitamin D, so that could be a factor.

I wonder if there's a link between these meds and mood changes... It's interesting that some of us are experiencing similar things. I started feeling unusually sad. Good to know it's not all in my head!
