Down 33lbs in 3mo!

I'm officially down 33 pounds since starting this journey back in February! Weighed in at 216.9 this week, and that's down from 249.9. My initial goal was 199, but now I'm thinking 165 would be amazing – that's what I weighed in high school. Haven't seen a number that low since maybe 2010!

Huge congrats! I'm right there with you, just one month in and about 14lbs gone. Hoping my journey goes as well as yours! Keep going!

Great job! I just took my first 0.25mg dose a few days ago. I'm curious about your experience:

- What dose are you on?
- Have you changed your diet or incorporated exercise?
- If you are working out, what do you do, and how often?

That's fantastic! I kicked off in early 2023 and managed to drop almost 100lbs before the end of the year. I went from 280 to 180. I originally set my sights on 200, but once I got there, I lowered it to 180, then eventually 160. I actually hit 160 for a single day, then settled around 170. Now I bounce between 170 and 175. I've started experimenting with stacking reta on top of tirz, but in much smaller doses compared to when I was actively losing weight.

Congratulations on your success!

For context, I used a sema-like medication for the first year, then switched to tirz the following year. The reta stacking was just an experiment I started a couple of months later.

Hey Charlie_32, to answer your questions:

- I'm currently on 1mg.
- I've adjusted my diet, focusing on more protein and less junk. I haven't really incorporated exercise beyond my usual walking. I should probably do more!

It's great that you're prioritizing protein. Remember that exercise is really important for maintaining muscle mass and bone density while losing weight.

I remember when I started, I stalled after a while, too. My doctor suggested tirzepatide and that really pushed me through. Congrats on the progress!

If you are feeling lethargic while on these meds, it might be worth getting some bloodwork done. A B12 deficiency can cause fatigue and brain fog. It's best to know for sure before starting any supplements.

I'm only a few weeks in and haven't seen a huge change on the scale yet. I am trying to eat less, around 1500 calories. I'm hoping that adding some exercise will help, but I'm finding it hard to get motivated. Did anyone else find that exercise helped kickstart their weight loss, or did it just happen over time?

It's still early days. The initial dose is often just to get your body used to the medication. Some people find that water loss and reduced puffiness are the first visible changes. But don't get discouraged!
