It feels so weird to even be posting this, honestly. I've never really been one to put myself out there online or share personal stuff like this with strangers...
I'm 30, and I've struggled with being overweight most of my life. But after losing both my parents in the last decade, my weight really spiraled out of control, and it started affecting my everyday life. I was getting seriously worried about my well-being in a way I never had before. It was honestly scary to think about what my future looked like. All that weight made me feel trapped, like there was no way I could ever lose it.
So, on a whim in January, I decided to try Weight Watchers again. I did it with my mom when I was a kid, haha! I didn't expect it to have such a massive impact on my health. When I signed up, I wasn't even thinking about trying GLP-1s, but when I saw it in the app, I thought, "What the heck, I'll check it out." Best decision ever.
I actually feel hopeful about the future now! I'm starting to like myself and the body I'm in again, which is something I haven't been able to say in years. Semaglutide has really changed my life in just a few months, and I wish I'd known about it sooner. But I'm just so happy I started my health journey in January and decided to give this a try. I was in a really dark place before, and now I can finally see some light.
