Down 35lbs since summer!

I started on Oz at the start of July, and according to my scale I'm no longer considered 'obese'! So thrilled! 🤗

Looking at some before/after shots (sorry if that's too much 🫣), the difference might not be super obvious (still got a ways to go!), but in regular photos it's night and day. I feel like myself again, not some old lady who looks 10 years older than I am. I'm 44.

Almost no side effects, thankfully. A bit of nausea at first, and some constipation after a few months, but nothing I can't handle and it's totally worth it. Still on a pretty low dose, around 0.6x mg, and my food cravings are way down. Losing about 1-2 lbs each week, give or take.

I'm 5'3", started at 200, now at 165. On to the next 35, or maybe less! We'll see.

You can do this!

I’ve been on semaglutide for 3 weeks now, at 0.8 mg, and haven’t lost anything. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm so thrilled for you, Sage56! It really is life-changing. I've seen patients lose a significant portion of their body weight and improve their A1C levels dramatically. Keep up the amazing work!

For anyone feeling discouraged, remember that progress is progress, no matter how slow. I've been on a GLP-1 for over two years now. Started at 303lbs, currently at 212lbs. That's about 0.75lb a week on average. Slow and steady wins the race!

It can take some time! Don't give up! Are you tracking your calories?

It's amazing how these meds can change lives. I've seen people go from A1C of 12 to 5.4, and even cure sleep apnea! Congrats to everyone on their journeys.
