Started at 220, now I'm hovering around 180, hoping to reach 160. I'm so thankful for this medication! I've struggled with emotional eating due to my anxiety for a long time. Now I feel like I'm actually in charge. I'm making better food choices and treating myself sometimes.

Wow! That's incredible! 40 lbs looks like WAY more than 40 lbs on you.

Are you also exercising or just focusing on your diet?

Looking great!

How did your tattoos hold up with the weight loss? I have a full sleeve and I'm a little worried about how it will look when I start the medication.

I totally get how body image can lag behind actual weight loss. I've heard from others that even after significant weight loss, they still feel like they look the same. It's wild. I think it's called body dysmorphia?

It's so true. Even when the scale says one thing, our brains can play tricks on us. I've found that taking progress photos really helps.
