Hey everyone! Thanks for posting in this semaglutide community!

Just a quick note about the rules. We can't allow any talk about semaglutide that isn't FDA-approved, and selling or offering to sell meds, even in DMs, is off-limits. Don't ask for or answer any DMs offering that kind of stuff – we don't endorse them.

If you're just getting started, take a look at our . This is just to help, not to stop you from talking.

Fantastic! Thanks for sharing your experience. My plan is to stick with the smallest effective dose for as long as it works, even if that means staying at .25 indefinitely.

I've heard some people split their doses. I'm curious if @GeneProgress has considered that. I saw someone mention that it helped them with side effects and also with keeping the hunger at bay later in the week.

Splitting doses is an interesting strategy. It might help some people maintain a more consistent level of the medication in their system. However, it's important to calculate the dosage carefully to ensure you're still getting the intended amount across the week. I'd advise anyone considering this to discuss it with their doctor first.

I am supposed to go up on my dose this week and I am nervous! It feels like a big jump. I've lost 9 pounds so far, and it's working, but I don't want to feel sick. Anyone else feel that way?
I totally get that! Maybe increase by a smaller amount than prescribed? Some people find that going slowly helps with side effects.

Yeah, I've heard injecting in the thigh might help with side effects. I haven't tried it myself, but it's worth a shot!

When science meets real self-work, that's when change actually sticks. You went from where you started to where you are now with better sleep, healthier BP, and broke some rough habits. That quiet food noise you mentioned? Game-changer. Your story proves real transformation happens.

anxiety especially medical anxiety can spike when you start this and usually dies down after a couple weeks. anger gets reported too but it tends to fade. ask your doc about check-ins. keeping a journal helps—dose, side effects, food, water.

Gray market's the way. Google it — you can find compounded versions online. Affordable, mix it yourself (easy), no insurance drama, any dose you want.

15 lbs in 12 days is early rapid loss - usually the first two weeks come fast before the pace normalizes. The dysautonomia inflammation note is interesting; the GLP-1 anti-inflammatory mechanism gets discussed less than the weight piece but the research is there.
