Hey everyone! I kicked off my journey in Oct '24 weighing around 198, and now it's May '25 and the scale reads 150! Can't believe it! 😍🥰🎉

Before starting, I was in a rough spot, letting someone else's opinion get to me. Honestly, half of this was a 'revenge body' thing, and the other half was just wanting to get back in shape after a bad car accident sidelined me for two years and four surgeries. Looking in the mirror was tough, and I aimed to get back to my happy weight of around 136. Almost there!

Now, I couldn't care less about what *he* thinks, and I'm finally feeling good about myself again. This group led me to the clinic I'm using, and when I felt like nothing was happening, the community here kept me going and assured me it takes time. I attached my before & after so anyone feeling down can see that it IS possible!

Thank you all so much! Hoping everyone here finds their confidence again. It's an incredible feeling.

Thanks for the post to the community!

Woww amazing. I been on Sema since the start of the year, but I’m not seeing changes at all. I'm just loosing my money🥺😫😢. But you look amazing.

Did you mean 298 as your starting? Either way, you look great!!!! And... drop that guy because you're beautiful, no matter what! But seriously, solid work on sticking to it!

It's important to have realistic expectations. Not everyone will react to these medications the same way. Also, the initial dose isn't always therapeutic, and it can take time to build up in your system. The first bit of weight you lose might just be water from inflammation. Some people have a lot of inflammation, and lose fast at first, but some have very little inflammation and lose less weight at first.

I've heard from some friends that even if the scale isn't moving a ton, they're losing inches. Don't get discouraged if the number isn't dropping as fast as you like, IF-warrior!
