Down 50, A1c great!

That's really inspiring. I've been on a similar path, diagnosed T2D last year and started a GLP-1. My doc put me on it right away. I've totally revamped my eating habits, back to a lower carb approach like when I had gestational diabetes. So far, so good!

That's great to hear, Taylor37! Diabetes control is always the top priority. Weight loss is just an added benefit in many cases. Some people can achieve remission with weight loss, while others with a strong family history may always need some form of medication.

I went from an A1c in the mid 7s to the mid 4s. Dropped over 100 pounds in about two years and was finally taken off my GLP-1 about a month ago. Feels good!
