Down 50+ lbs!

Nine months on this med, dropped about 53 pounds.

Used to be 5'2", around 210, now closer to 157. Somewhere in there... moving, so scales are packed.

Never really disliked my bod, but now I'm feeling more confident every day. :)

My goal is to reach a good BMI, then see how I feel.

You look great! It's inspiring to me :)
I'm almost the same stats, 5'1" & around 160lbs, just started semaglutide shots two days ago aiming for a healthy BMI and lower cholesterol. I'm seeing a nutritionist, making better habits, and hitting the gym 4x a week. Weight sneaks up on us shorties, especially after kids. I was 130 pre-kids, then 170. It's taken 2 years to lose 10lbs, and even with better habits, the scale is stuck at 155-160. I hope this helps me get over that hump.

It's totally worth it. I realized that after losing the extra weight, I don't need my sleep apnea machine anymore. I sleep so well now!

Good luck! Be patient... it took me almost a year to really see big changes. I didn't gain it all overnight, so I wasn't going to lose it that way either.

Yep, I agree with not-today-scale. It does take time, but it's worth it. I'm down about 45kg (almost 100 lbs) after about 10 months, and I'm hoping to lose another 10kg or so. Take the wins, enjoy the better health and easier movement, and own the self-esteem boost!
