Down 50 pounds woah!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Lost a good chunk in the first two weeks, mostly from cutting comfort foods cold turkey. Not much else came off until reaching the full dose. Started at a small amount roughly two months back, currently on the fourth dose at a slightly higher amount, and down a big total number now. It happens eventually!

Our timelines and total weight lost line up almost exactly, and yeah, I hit a wall too. What's finally moving the needle though, switched my injection spot from stomach over to thigh, and it genuinely seems to have worked!!! Food noise dropped noticeably and I'm down 3 lbs just since last week! Never would've guessed something that simple could actually make a difference, but here we are, and honestly there's no downside to trying the same swap yourself.

Start 101kg in Oct 2025, now 74.5kg, goal 65kg. Since Jan I've stayed at 1mg because the lower dose responds so well. I also do F45 3 times a week.

Down nearly 50 pounds, 226 to 175, and im about 5'4. Im at 1mg and staying there while it works. I use the Macrofactor app, which adjusts my calories, carbs and protein weekly so i hit my goals. All along ive kept calories only 400 under my TDEE, eating around 1500-1800 daily whenever possible. My calorie target is set per week, not per day. My appetite is small on injection day and for two days following, and the banked calories get spent on hungrier days. Macrofactor does the math for me and has been amazing.

Exactly. Pick the smallest dose that still works: at least half a pound off weekly, with side effects you can live with.

sounds about right, aiming for a 15% drop from 240 and currently sitting at 10% down on 1mg. trial data showed average loss on that dose over 72 weeks landed around 9%, so you're basically right on track, maybe a touch ahead of schedule even. decent odds you'll need to push to 2mg eventually to reach 205, but with your weight and body fat already that lean, there's zero rush and no real medical reason to push it, it's mostly just cosmetic at that point

Only bumped the dose three times total, still sitting at 0.7mg or 25 units, and I inject every six days instead of seven to dodge that deep hunger that hits on day seven. Feels like I'm finally eating the right amount, to the point I keep hitting 'no thanks, just maintaining' on the reorder app instead of bumping up. Stopped climbing the dose once the rough side effects kicked in, backed off a bit after a nasty round of sulfur burps and awful diarrhea. If the scale's still moving a pound or so weekly, that's a win in my book, slow and something I can actually keep up. Honestly I'd pick staying exactly where I am over reverting to the version of me who thought about food constantly, far too self conscious to try anything new with my kids, things like climbing or jet skiing on a trip.
