Down 50lb! Weight loss update

Hong Kong Yanpep International
higher doses flipped my mood hard. was partly the food quality and not moving enough to keep muscle though. also realized i was eating feelings, you know? on this stuff you can't do that so you sit with it. not ready for meds or therapy but journaling and diet and movement helped tons.

2.4 on a salty week is still 2.4. The scale overcorrects after sodium - what matters is the trend. Down 50 is a real result regardless.

110 lbs gone, HTN meds stopped, cholesterol meds stopped, 15 inches from the waist - that's the whole picture of what this can do. 50 lbs in the OP and still young means the runway ahead is long and the improvements compound. Keep going.

Same story. Roughly 22 pounds gone since early April. Responded stronger initially, then things plateaued. Second week now on 7.5mg, hoping to see movement. My reaction to food's shifted too, can handle bigger portions than before but usually still hold back. Need to ramp exercise more but chronic pain makes that the tougher battle. Hang tight, everyone. Keep logging what you eat.

Same here, my progress has been gradual too. Currently at 7.5mg, twelve weeks in. Dealing with sciatica so my exercise options are pretty limited before it flares. Picked up walking recently though, would love for the pounds to come off a bit quicker. Down about 9-10 kilos so far. Still have another 20-30 to go.

It's honestly wild because my whole mindset around habits has shifted completely, and that's really what's keeping the weight off long term. Meanwhile I don't feel much actual hunger anymore because of the gut motility trouble, and eating now comes with pain, so I naturally eat less just trying to avoid that discomfort.

Turns out I never realized I was someone who eats by volume until dealing with all this, so a big piece of holding the loss was feeling full from generous portions of healthy food. These days I can only manage about four tiny meals a day, and that's just not satisfying on a mental level.

All pretty strange to navigate.

Staying hopeful though! Keep reminding myself that two months back I couldn't eat a single bite without severe pain, and today I got through two whole meals completely pain free with the help of an acid reducer, so that counts as real progress.
