Down 60+ lbs!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
60+ lbs from summer '25 is a strong semaglutide result. The sweet craving at 2.5mg when you already dislike sweets is a known pattern at that dose range - the leptin and appetite signaling can temporarily produce cravings for things outside your normal intake as the system recalibrates. Usually resolves as the dose settles or goes up.

35 pounds before stopping because of the side effects is still a real result. The constant nausea and constipation reason for stopping comes up more than people expect. Has the weight stayed off since coming off it?

80 lbs at 1.0mg weekly through a full year of low calorie and hard protein is the patient approach done all the way through to maintenance. The OP at 60+ from a 'never thought I'd post this' start is the same trajectory earlier in the journey. What did the maintenance transition look like and what dose are you on now?

the aversion to the foods that caused nausea is one of the more lasting rewiring effects - when a specific food triggers a strong GI response, the brain logs that association and the craving for that food often doesn't come back even after the medication effect fades. 60 lbs and a reset food baseline is a compound win
