Down 60 pounds since Jan!

I've managed to drop sixty pounds since January! SW: 255 pounds
CW: 195 pounds
I'm a 5'6", 29-year-old female struggling with PCOS and a recovering alcoholic (happily sober for over two years before starting Ozempic).

I'm still on a 1 mg dose. I'm consuming around 1500 calories daily, focusing on a minimum of 100 grams of protein, but aiming for more. Huge shoutout to Ozempic!

You look fantastic! If you're comfortable sharing, has it had any impact on your sobriety? I've heard some people say it diminishes cravings much like it eliminates food noise. My children's father is a recovering alcoholic, and I'm considering mentioning it to him since he's been struggling.

I have a couple more personal questions, but please don't feel obligated to answer! I'm starting on this medication soon (as soon as it gets here) and I keep worrying about these things.

Do you feel like you have a lot of loose skin, or does it seem like things are tightening up as you're losing weight? Also, have your breasts seemed to lift or more so deflate with the weight loss?

That’s absolutely amazing. It's taken me a year to drop 30 pounds, and it's completely stalled. No weight loss in four months now. I'm on .78 mg, and I still need to lose another 100 pounds. Feeling very discouraged.

What's everyone managing to eat? I had my injection this morning, and the thought of dinner only occurred to me around 4:30 PM. I still haven’t eaten since yesterday!

Thanks everyone for the kind words! Really appreciate the support. It's not always easy but definitely worth it. I am feeling more like myself every day.

Don't give up! Sometimes you need to adjust your dosage or re-evaluate your diet. Have you considered talking to your doctor about increasing your dose?

That's a good idea. I see them next month. I'll definitely bring it up.
