Down 60lbs -- Feeling Great!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
Perimenopause plus GLP-1 where the mechanism is suppressing appetite enough to keep the deficit real even on very low intake is a specific combination. Fighting for every pound at sub-1000 calories is where the medication doing the appetite work matters most - the alternative is a deficit too uncomfortable to sustain. 60 lbs in 9 months from 186 is a great result.

Was in a nearly identical spot myself, and six months later I'm 16 kilos down and sitting right at my target. I'm on the older side at 61 and had spent a full decade failing to shed this weight before. Barely dealt with any side effects, just make sure to drink plenty of water once you cut back on fatty food.
Felt guilty about it initially too, but finally landing at a healthy weight has genuinely changed everything for me. Like others have mentioned, pairing this with real exercise and better eating habits matters, otherwise you'll likely find yourself right back where you started, or worse, once several more years pass.

That's incredible, seeing the number drop the moment you hit that level with nothing else adjusted... The part I treasured most was how instantly calm everything around eating became, food's simply there when needed and that's the end of it. Zero cravings, zero hunger pangs, zero looping thoughts, just genuine quiet in my head. My guess is that same calm shows up again further down the road at a smaller amount, then gradually softens with time, same cycle repeating. Might as well savor it while it's here, though I'll admit there's some anxiety about tapering or quitting eventually, which is honestly a big reason I've held steady at this level for so long.

1. Wasn't purely skin, some fat was in the mix too, but my surgeon reassured me that's normal since you can't control exactly where weight comes off, and given how much I'd lost overall it made sense. He explained the cells themselves don't go away, they just get smaller, and because that area holds onto more fat in most women's bodies, diet and exercise alone won't fully fix that spot.
2. Definitely factored that in. My target was around 70-72 kg. Hoping to stay somewhere between 70-75 kg long term. Held at 74 kg for two months before the procedure.
3. Typically they'd want a longer maintenance stretch, but when we went over how things progressed he noted that over the final six months I'd only dropped a small amount, maybe 10kg, relative to my total loss. I'd plateaued and the last bit came off slowly compared to earlier, so he was satisfied given that. Factoring in the two months of holding steady, he said it was fine to move forward.
4. Correct. Had to stop at least two weeks ahead for the general anesthesia. Went off it abruptly while at 4.5 mg. Restarted around seven weeks after the procedure at 2.5 mg since I wasn't certain how my body would handle it, and recovery really required
