Down 60lbs on GLP-1!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
started at 2.5mg two sundays ago and dropped 7 lbs the first week. averaged about 1700 calories daily even though my app said 2124 was okay for my goal rate, aimed for 10k steps. week 2's the same. hit nausea waves for 5 days then it backs off. can live with it.

TRT plus tirz as a game changer for the metabolically compromised version of the problem is a real combination - the testosterone side addresses the hormonal resistance that makes GLP-1s less effective on their own for a lot of men. The OP's journey from 275 to 215 since May 2023 with the dose titration is the extended version. What did the combination look like in the early months and when did it start clicking?

the buffet culture mindset point is the environmental factor that makes the medication's job harder - it suppresses hunger but if the social eating context keeps putting high-calorie options in reach, the behavioral piece still needs attention. 60 lbs is the result when the medication and the environment management work together. the OP going from 275 to 215 is the version where both are clicking.

Yep! Went from 225 at the tail end of October 2024 down to 180 by June 2025, then got restless after hitting a wall and added reta that same June. (Went back through my log to confirm the timeline for you. So roughly 5.5lb monthly average across those 8 months. Sitting at 145 now, briefly touched 140 partway through summer but had to pause every glp and stay mostly inactive for medical reasons over a month, just getting back into it.)

(If you want something to chuckle at, restarting brought my very first mixup ever, 2.5mg sema instead of the intended .25. Feel free to enjoy that bit of arrogance.)
