Down 65 lbs. Feeling Amazing!

Hong Kong Yanpep International
That's impressive, seriously. The skin thing hit you too - especially the arms. Age definitely plays a role, but you're younger than you think weight-wise in terms of recovery. Your body's going to bounce back more than mine ever will. The transformation speaks volumes.

Right?! Being able to fit somewhere comfortably without that tight squeeze? That's been one of the biggest wins for me with this whole thing.

That's awesome, seriously! Loose skin can get tightened up with time and movement. Winter makes everything harder though—just staying warm is enough. I didn't hit the gym for 2 years, started at home with stretching 3x a week. Walking is a perfect start. Keep pushing, you've got this.

50 pounds on Mounjaro since October with 13 left is exactly the phase where the mental component becomes the dominant story - the physical scale number matters less and less when the daily experience has shifted this much.

This made me want to comment too, which almost never happens for me. The mindset you described is exactly the thing that makes the difference long term. You're not just on a drug, you're genuinely changing how you relate to food. That's the version that actually sticks.

That clothes thing really gets me - going from dressing to hide to dressing because you actually want to wear it. I just got back on it 4 months ago and I'm still in the hiding phase honestly but I can see it starting to shift. Your post is motivating.

totally get that first start energy where you're estimating the goal and thinking it's gonna be more straightforward than it turns out. 65 down and not knowing where you'd land is actually the better story - the number surprised you rather than you just chasing a target.
