I'm a 32 year old woman, 5'8. Started at 267 lbs, now I'm 197, shooting for 160.

This stuff is seriously incredible. Started around eight months ago back in May 2024. Almost zero joint pain now.

Hopefully, this gives someone a little motivation. I've been getting it from all of you! ❤️

Hey all,

Just a reminder about the rules. No discussions about unapproved versions of these meds, and absolutely no buying/selling. Don't respond to anyone DMing you offers.

New folks, check out the FAQ.

Thanks for sharing your story! I'm also 5'8", around 260 and aiming for 160. This is truly inspiring!

How long have you been on it, and what dosage? I'm using IF until like, March or April next year. Then my doctor and I will talk again. He said my insurance wants to see changes to my lifestyle to okay it.

Heard about a new drug supposedly better for weight loss (starts with a T) but unsure if insurance covers it yet.

Your progress is impressive. I've dropped 20, but it took forever starting and stopping IF. I've got 50 more to go. Then I'll be back to my weight from 30 years ago haha.

Losing weight gets harder as we get older. And we become more prone to illness and less energetic. My goal is to dodge type 2, feel better, and have more energy. If meds can help, great! And no surgery!

You look fantastic!

Can you talk about how it's affected your pain and inflammation? I have fibromyalgia, and I'm hoping to start semaglutide in the next couple of weeks. I have a ton of weight to lose, but honestly if it could help with pain and inflammation that's almost better than potential weight loss.

Some studies suggest GLP-1 receptor agonists can reduce inflammation, possibly impacting conditions like fibromyalgia, but more research is definitely needed!

For me, it's been a gradual process. I noticed I could move a lot easier without that constant ache. I think losing the weight really helped take the pressure off my joints, which in turn reduced inflammation. I hope you find relief too!
