Down 70+ lbs, still feels unreal!

I've been taking 1 mg weekly for a while. Even though I still see the same me in the mirror, comparing photos is wild. My joints aren't screaming all the time, and I can walk way longer distances. Didn't get how much strain the extra weight placed on everything. It just became normal, I guess.

That's awesome! I'm down about 80 lbs since last year. It's crazy how much better clothes fit. I'm even fitting into stuff I kept for years!

That's so inspiring! I've been holding onto some things, too. Can't wait to try them on! Congrats!

For anyone just starting out or feeling discouraged, it really does happen when you least expect it. I went a month without weighing myself and suddenly my pants were falling off! Just stay consistent.

This is so true! It's a marathon, not a sprint. Thanks for the reminder!

My DEXA scan showed muscle mass that's good for my height. So low RMR shouldn't be an issue based on muscle. Hoping it picks up - it's discouraging watching a friend drop 15 pounds without trying while my scale barely moves.

Lots of folks don't see solid loss in the first six to eight weeks, especially on lower doses. Changes can be water and bloating hides fat loss. You already lost 50 on your own. GLP1s are a tool. Sometimes hitting therapeutic dose is key. Seven weeks is tough but early still. Keep your doc updated. Stay steady. Don't let scale swings wreck your head.

56, been a couple weeks on the starter dose (two shots), no real side effects so far. knees feel less creaky on stairs, but it's too early to tell if that sticks. down about 2.5 lbs total but i fluctuate a pound or two daily so i'm not reading much into the scale yet.

Lost 7 in the first go, which was awesome. Tracking weight daily and watching the weekly average.

Week 1: -2.7
Week 2: -0.8
Week 3: -0.7
Week 4: -2.7
Week 5: probably -1 or so

Side effects hit me: burping and gas early on, appetite dropped fast. But honestly, my brain still wants all the junk food that got me here. The meds help with hunger but not the cravings. Have to retrain what I actually eat.

70 lbs on 1mg weekly is the medication doing exactly what it's built for - the mirror lag is universal and the photo comparison is what eventually closes the gap.
