Down 70+ lbs! Woohoo!

Hi everyone! 27F, 5'2".

Started at 217 lbs, now at 145 lbs. It's been about nine months. I do some yoga now and then, but I'm mostly walking on the job. I average around 10k steps per day at work. Weekends are for relaxing, lol. Plus, I track my calories daily.

It's been a journey, but so worth it. So glad I started this! 🤍

Thanks for posting! Just a reminder about the rules. No discussion of non-approved stuff, and no selling meds. If you're new, check out the FAQ:

Wow, that's a significant change!

I'm one month in and only down six pounds. I started at 185, aiming for 130 (I'm 5'7"). I just increased to 0.5mg. Maybe once I get to the higher doses, I'll see more results?

That's amazing progress in a reasonable time! It's encouraging to see what consistency can do. Your story can really motivate others who are experiencing slow weeks. You should consider posting it to the community, I bet people there would appreciate it.

I'm wondering... if you're already doing all that, is the med even necessary? I'm on the fence about trying it. I see patients in the ER with side effects from these meds all the time, and it scares me. But it's also tempting...

I totally agree with FTW - 10k steps is great! I'm trying to get back to that level of activity. I've seen others say that they have lost 90+ lbs and are close to their goal. Keep up the great work everyone!

Yeah, and some people focus on maintanence after they get close to their goal. SW-205 CW- 164, 5’8. This person was almost ten pounds from their goal, and then they are focused on maintenance!
