I have some jeans that I bought when I was around 180, they fit at 195, and still fit now that I'm 155. I feel a little betrayed, honestly. They should have been honest with me back then!
We need to save this post and share it every time someone asks why they haven't gone down a size after losing 20+ pounds! We often don't realize just how forgiving our clothes are. For me, I usually need to drop about 30 lbs before I can go down a size.
Awesome! I'm about 60 lbs lighter and I'm still shocked that some of my pants fit. I guess that stretch denim really does go the distance! You look amazing!
Thanks True-Happy for the brand info! I'm officially on the hunt. Losing weight is expensive enough without having to replace my closet every few months! NYDJ, here I come!
I know what you mean fresh-start! I felt the same way. I was around 170 when I started and I'm at 153 now. I still want to lose another 10 pounds, but it feels so achievable now. I never thought I'd be this size!
As someone who has worked with folks using semaglutide, I always tell them to celebrate the non-scale victories too! It is VERY hard work! Don't let anyone minimize your accomplishment.
