Started around 360 lbs (estimate 'cause I started tracking a bit late).
Current weight: bouncing between 275-280 lbs.
Mostly just trying to keep things stable and build some muscle now. Hitting the gym about 3 times a week. It's amazing how much easier it is to move around now!

I saw those pictures and you look really happy. I started at a similar weight and just started this journey. I really hope my results are similar to yours.

Thanks, everyone! It's definitely been a journey. For those just starting, remember to be patient with yourselves. Tracking progress pics really helped me stay motivated.

I'm glad you're focusing on strength training, Dose_of_Reality! It's so important to try to hold onto muscle while losing weight. I've read that GLP-1s can sometimes lead to muscle loss if you aren't careful. Have you noticed any changes in your body composition?

That's a great question! I was worried about that too, so I've really focused on increasing my protein intake and lifting consistently. I actually think I'm gaining muscle, even though I'm still losing some fat. The scale is moving slower now, but I look and feel much stronger!

It's great to hear you're prioritizing strength training! It's crucial when using GLP-1s. Studies have shown that a significant portion of weight loss can be lean muscle mass if preventative measures aren't taken.
