Hit a milestone! Lost approximately 80 pounds after a little over a year on Ozempic. Mostly stuck with the 2.0mg dose. Aiming for another 25 pounds. For reference, I'm 5'0", started at 240lbs, currently at 160lbs.

You look great! Did you work out at all during that period, or was it just the medication and diet changes? (No pressure either way) I've been on Oz since September but haven't been exercising. Just started a 2mg dose last Saturday!

You've taken years off along with the weight! You appear healthier and younger. Congratulations; I know that takes considerable effort and commitment, so kudos!

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words! To answer some questions: yes, that's my daughter. And I did incorporate light exercise - mostly walking - but the majority of the loss was diet and the medication.

I've heard it's really important to focus on diet when you're on these meds. Exercise is great, but diet seems to be key for a lot of folks.

Congratulations on your progress! As you get closer to your goal weight, remember the "paper towel roll effect." The closer you get to your goal, the more noticeable each pound lost becomes to others.

Ok good to know! I've been trying but definitely not as much as I probably should be.
