Down 93kg... Now what?!

I began near 180kg, and OMG, I'm hooked! Supposed to be maintaining, but can't make myself stop! What a wild ride it's been. Wouldn't trade it. Ever. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

Down 93kg total. That's like losing... my husband! LOL. Everyone's telling me to stop losing weight: hubby, family, doc, besties. I appreciate their 2 cents, but it's my call. Never wanted to be a skinny minny, just wanted to move better, ditch the pharmacy in my purse, and reclaim my life. The rest is just gravy!

Give it a shot now! If you're unsure, get rid of the doubt and see what happens. โœจ๐Ÿ’ฅ The good things definitely outweigh the bad.

Best wishes. Stick with it. Have fun on this crazy journey. It won't always be a walk in the park. But you can do this!

You're super photogenic! In your latest pic, you look at peace with things. Itโ€™s amazing!!

You're right to pay no attention to them. As someone who prescribes these meds, I'm always hearing about relatives who are 'worried' and want people to stop losing. They're just thrown off because they picture you at your highest weight. That's their problem to deal with. What people think they know about you now is not your concern.

Focusing on key health numbers is the best way to push back against everyone else's opinions. Keep up what you're doing. Monitor your A1c, cholesterol, triglycerides, and blood pressure. Keep an eye on your muscle/fat ratio and get checked for any other health concerns on the reg. Look for improvements there, and if those numbers look good, you can tell everyone else to take a step back -- because your health team is pleased with your results, and that's what matters.

You look fantastic, really stylish!

I understand where you're coming from about stopping. If you've struggled with weight-related anxiety for years, losing weight might be a comfort. I know I'll have to make a tough choice and gain control over my eating at some point. It's worrying! But think about all the health perks you've gained. If you become too skinny, you can lose the benefits. Think of Sharon Osborne. If your body fat percentage is alright, you may not need to aim for lower, and you seem great as you are. To be clear: I see where you're coming from, and it's your decision alone. But your doctor might have helpful advice.

That last picture speaks volumes! Congrats! Keep listening to your gut like you did when you began; you'll do the same with keeping it off!

Doesnโ€™t it feel great? Iโ€™ve lost 32kg and it's stayed there for months now. I feel like Iโ€™m back to my old self, someone I liked! Way to go! Your beauty shines! Not that you werenโ€™t lovely before. It's just that how great you feel is obvious.

You lost 93kg in 43 weeks? I know we arenโ€™t supposed to compare ourselves to others, but Iโ€™m at 15mg now, and I've been on MJ for over a year, and it's s-l-o-w going.

Edit: Sorry for making this about me. ๐Ÿ™„ You look fantastic, and the look on your face in that last pic is like so much more than body weight has been lifted!

To Nikki_92, don't get discouraged about the pace of your progress. Everyone's body responds differently. Focus on the positive changes you're experiencing, even if they're not just on the scale. Clothes fitting better, more energy, and improved blood sugar are all HUGE wins!

I saw someone on Reddit who lost nearly 60kg in 6 months. Their doctor said it literally changed their life, and now they're as healthy as a normal 30-year-old. Amazing! They went from a size 5XL to 2XL!

That's awesome! How long have you been on it? I'm thinking about starting but a bit nervous.
