Down a Benjamin! Weight loss journey

Congrats!!! You look fantastic!! What's your height if you don't mind? I'm partway through my own progress and honestly not sure what my target should be.

Started at 105 kilos and was battling alcoholism - hitting 2 years sober this June. The injections were pricey but I dropped to 83 kilos in a year. Plateaus happened but pushing through paid off. Don't give up; even when the scale stalls, keep going. That number doesn't define your worth.

I want to be real with you. I started at 105 kilos and struggled with a lot of stuff including drinking. Been sober since June coming up on 2 years now. The weight journey has been expensive but over 12 months I got down to 83 kilos. Long way still to go honestly. There were stretches where nothing moved on the scale but you just keep going. Everything works out. The number you see doesn't define your worth next to anyone else.

100 lbs through a breast cancer diagnosis and double hip replacements is not just a weight loss story - it's something else entirely. The maintenance through all of that counts as much as the loss itself.

100 pounds over two years while managing a cancer diagnosis and two hip replacements is a different category of result - the consistency through that level of medical disruption is the harder achievement than the number itself.

100 lbs through a cancer diagnosis and two hip replacements is not a weight loss story, it's a survival story. The fact that Mounjaro was part of it through all of that is remarkable. The result clearly took something much bigger than just the medication.

100 lbs down through a breast cancer diagnosis and double hip replacements is a different kind of result than the standard journey - the complications at each stage make the consistency that much more remarkable. Two years of forward momentum through that level of disruption is the real story.
