When I began this journey last summer, a snug size 18 was my reality. Today? I confidently purchased a size 8, a fit I haven't seen since my college days. The constant nerve twinges? Gone. My energy levels? Sky high. If I stall out here, honestly, I'd be content. My ultimate goal is still within reach, as my BMI still puts me in the overweight category for someone my height. Back in June, if you'd predicted a 50-pound drop by now, I would've laughed.
Keep at it. I hit a plateau that lasted months. The scale barely budged, maybe a couple of pounds each month – frustratingly slow for my liking. Now, the loss is accelerating again. I have to constantly remind myself that this is a process. I didn't pack on the pounds in a week, and they won't vanish overnight. But I'm ecstatic with my current progress.
