Downsized my wardrobe! Pics inside!

Hey everyone! I started this whole thing back in June. Check out the pics - these shirts used to be snug 2XLs! It's only been a few months, and I'm feeling amazing. I know some people might think this is cheating, but honestly, I'm not worried about them. I've been eating healthier and working out consistently. My lupus may cause metabolic problems, according to my doctor, and I think she's right. I'm not eating any differently than before starting the injections, so something's definitely working. I plan to stay on this long-term, even though I'm on a pretty low dose. It's really helped with hormone regulation and inflammation. So grateful for better health! Steroids and biologics really messed me up. ❤️

That's incredible visual progress! Give yourself a big pat on the back. It's definitely not the easy way out. People who haven't struggled with significant weight issues don't understand the constant food thoughts and what it's like to be obese. Those fat cells don't disappear; they just shrink, making it easier to regain the weight. Semaglutide is a tool, not a cheat.

What dosage are you currently taking? I just increased mine to 0.5. I lost about 8 pounds during my first month on 0.25. Just like you, I've been putting in the effort with diet and exercise.

So thrilled for you! I also have a couple of autoimmune conditions, and diet and exercise alone never seemed to work for me. I tried for years with no results. I've been on a low dose, and my joints feel much better. I've also lost about 18 pounds since July! There's definitely something to this hormone/metabolism connection.

So happy for you. You did a challenging thing, regardless of what others think. I hope you continue to feel better!

Seeing your progress gives me hope. Before starting, I was up to 275. Now I'm down to 225 in a year! It feels amazing! Keep up the great work!

That's an incredible achievement! Losing 50 pounds is a major accomplishment. Keep prioritizing consistency, and you'll continue to see results.

tried a ton of supplements, probiotics, everything. nothing stuck till i just ate less overall, went low-fodmap, dropped weight. for ibs-d it's not one magic pill—you trial stuff and see what your gut actually wants.
