Downsizing!

Before starting this stuff I was pushing 310, wearing 3XL clothes. Now I'm down to around 150 and fitting into small sizes!

I'm almost 6 feet tall, about to turn 42. Super grateful for this medication! My insurance isn't covering refills anymore, so I guess I'll be paying out of pocket.

You look fantastic! I bet you feel great too. I'm not sure how I'll deal with loose skin, but feeling healthy is my main goal. I'm 41 with a toddler and about to have knee surgery. Once I recover, I really need to slim down. Thanks for sharing your story!

I'm asking because I just got approved for Mounjaro and I'm a little nervous about starting. You look great – did you need any skin removal surgery? If that's too personal, please ignore the question. I have anxiety and get flamed whenever I post here.

Wow, what a difference! I just started on 2.5mg and it worked great for the first few weeks. Now I'm getting those cravings for junk food again. I've developed a bad habit of snacking after 9pm. I have one more week at 2.5mg, then I'm starting 5mg for four weeks. I can see that this medication helps a lot, but it's still easy to overeat.

I started Mounjaro in October 2022 at 215 pounds. Now I'm at 142. I still struggle to see myself as smaller, especially in photos. Body dysmorphia is real. I'm on a maintenance dose of 10mg once a month. My tip is to take probiotics for gut health and papaya enzymes for sulfur burps. Good luck on your journey ❤️. It's not a sprint; take it slow. The weight will come off. I’m a controlled type 2 diabetic.

I've dropped about 35 pounds, but still struggle to see much difference. Clothes fit the same so far. Anyone else experience this?

It's possible others notice it even if you don't! Sometimes we're the last to see the changes. Try taking measurements - that can be more objective.
