Dropped my Reta - still good?

I literally had a package thrown at my door last week. The delivery guy didn't feel like climbing the steps. He didn't realize he was on camera. Plenty of videos like that online, it's surprising vials aren't damaged more often.

Depending on the surface and height of the drop, I'd consider the risks. The one I dropped shattered, so the decision was made for me. Yes, they get shaken in delivery, but they have some protection. Everyone has different risk tolerance, so it's up to you.

I've been on sema for a little over a year now, and it's changed my life. Dropped about 80 pounds and my A1c is amazing. I think more people should consider it, but it's a personal choice.

I agree with @GymGirl, it's really changed lives. But people need to be aware of the possible side effects. It's not all sunshine and rainbows.

My progression was quick - didn't wait for a plateau before bumping up. Went 2.5, 5, 10, 15mg monthly. Started dropping at 5 but daily swings kept me pushing. Side issues were minimal and slower stomach emptying actually helped my IBS. Started 280, targeted 220. Stalled at 235 so I stacked Cagri to move the needle again. Reached 222 then got ill, ate poorly for days, now hovering around 228 hunting for the right dose to maintain.

I'm about the same height, started at 238 and I'm down to 191 now. Took a while to even notice the difference in how I looked. Those old clothes fit better though - that's when it really clicked for me. Keep going!
