Dry eyes on Tirz? Anyone else?

Once I increased my dose up to 10mg per week, I started having really dry eyes. It usually started a couple of days after my shot and lasted for about 36 hours. I started using lubricating eye drops and taking a supplement for eye health twice a day, which has helped a lot. Has anyone else had this happen?

My doc just said I'm staring at screens too much. Most docs don't know about the side effects of these meds. I'm not sure if it's the Tirz directly. I've read about Regenex/RGN-259 (TB4). I'm using the Glow protocol. Maybe TB4 is helping, or my body got used to Tirz, but my eyes aren't dry anymore.

Yes, I had that for a little while after each injection. I started taking an allergy med, just in case, and used some eye drops. I stopped both of them and it went away.

Yeah, watch out for the preservatives in those drops. If you're using them more than the package says, switch to preservative-free drops. They come in those little single-use vials. You can recap them with the broken-off piece and reuse them for a few days, just keep it clean and wash your hands first.

Also, if you use eyeliner along the waterline of your eye, that can make dryness worse. The makeup can be hard to get off completely and can clog tear ducts, or so I've heard.

I've had it for the last couple of months, since switching from 2mg of sema to 9mg of tirz. I drive for work, so my eyes are bloodshot after a 12 or 13-hour day. At first, I figured it was just from the AC blowing dust around.

I need more info!

I've been having dry eyes ever since I had LASIK. Being new to peptides, I've been trying to find one that might help. I was just about to order GLOW and give it a shot.

I'll check out Regenex/RGN-259 (TB4).

Do you have any more details? Where do you get TB4?

Again!!!! Thank you forum. 🙏

I've had this eye problem and had no clue why!!!! I went to the eye doctor and got it checked out, but they didn't link it to Tirz. Honestly, it's so new to most people in the medical field. I was explaining the difference between sema and tirz to a lead nurse yesterday.

I also noticed that I have dry eyes since starting Tirz, so I did some research online. It seems that GLP-1 meds might cause dry eyes because of dehydration and changes in blood sugar (fluid shifts in the body). I make sure to stay hydrated and use preservative-free eye drops. I'm hoping the dry eyes will get better as I go further on this journey.

I had it too. I switched to Reta two weeks ago, and it's much better for me now.

For the first week, I still had Tirz in my system; this week, I have less.

I still have it a little, but it's maybe 70% better.

I see some people are getting fatigue. Make sure you're eating enough. You need fuel to burn fat. Use a TDEE calculator, there are tons online, to figure out your calorie needs, then subtract 500 calories for weight loss - but don't go any lower than that! Malnutrition will definitely make you tired.

I've also noticed that I've been feeling more tired since starting Tirz. I've read that some people find it helps to increase their protein intake. I'm going to try to focus on getting more protein and see if that helps with the fatigue.

I've experienced some weird side effects, too. For me, it's been occasional nausea and a general feeling of being unwell. Creating a ChatGPT bot to track my side effects is an interesting idea. Has anyone else tried something like that?

maintenance is going smooth 😁 no issues & my freezer's packed. friend's question: she froze extracted peptide from a 7.5 pen that was expiring. safe to defrost & use?
