Preface:
Trouble staying asleep has been a lifelong thing. As a toddler, there was an actual house rule against leaving the bedroom before 6am. Once woke the parents up just to ask if leaving was allowed because the clock read '5:55'.
Usually running on 5.5 to 6.5 hours a night, with a full 8 hours happening maybe a handful of times a year. Falling asleep was never the issue, which is funny since that's what most supplements out there seem built for.
So a few nights back, loaded up a syringe with 2mg epitalon and took it during the usual midnight wake-up. Since then, a second stretch of deep sleep has shown up each time. Deep sleep was never really the shortage though, that part was already happening for about two hours nightly. It was the lingering grogginess afterward, lying there catching scraps of rem sleep instead of getting jolted awake at hours most people wouldn't believe existed.
Will update on this, but right now the feeling is genuinely great.
