Expired BAC water - still good?

So, the medical spa where my sister is employed offered me two cartons containing fifty bottles each of bacteriostatic water that went past its expiration date on April 30, 2025. Of course, I jumped at the chance! If you were in my shoes, would you make use of it?

Without a doubt, yes. It won't magically turn bad as soon as the clock strikes midnight. I noticed some supply websites are selling expired BAC water at nearly the same price as the unexpired stuff. It's kind of funny, actually.

That is exactly my thinking, @True_Coffee330. Now, another question: How long past the expiration date would you still feel confident using it?

I'm definitely planning to use it! Since they're all sealed, I'm assuming they should still be good for quite a while longer.

For anyone using peptides, here's a resource I found useful for calculating dosages if you're ever unsure: another forum

I am new to peptides, and I am trying to figure out dosing. I saw a post where someone said they got different answers from different online calculators! What is the most accurate way to calculate the correct dosage?

I usually err on the side of caution and reconstitute with a bit more water than strictly necessary. I saw one guy say

Once it's been accessed, about two months if stored properly in a cold, dark place
and that sounds right for stability too. Diluting it a bit more makes it easier to measure small doses accurately, at least for me.

Just a reminder that proper aseptic technique is essential when handling bacteriostatic water and reconstituted peptides, regardless of the expiration date. Always inspect for particulate matter before using!

That looks solid. Typical rate is 1-2 pounds a week on average, though some people drop 5 per week. Depends on your starting weight - if you're at 200 trying to lose 30, you won't see 5 every single week. Worth staying on it for at least a year since it stabilizes appetite and also helps your pancreas and liver settle down, which reduces inflammation and gets your body back to normal.

Started at 2mg with injections every 5 days. Weight hadn't budged and I was actually heavier, even felt hungrier. Just did my first 3mg shot and no side effects yet. Really hoping this breaks the plateau. Been doing some intense hikes and strength stuff.

What do your macro breakdowns look like? I track with MyFitnessPal. Running about 50% carbs, 30% fat, 20% protein trying to hit 1g per pound of goal. Pretty challenging. Still researching before starting myself. How many calories under maintenance is your target? Numbers vary.

filter your stuff even if you're careful. i spotted rubber bits in both my bac and my peptides and they're hard to spot. small particles you might inject are a real concern beyond sterility.
