I love seeing people's facial features start to slowly take over your face shape, it's like you are finally coming into your own. You're glowing and doing amazing! 140lbs is a great accomplishment!

You look amazing! And losing 140lbs is truly a huge deal!

If you don't mind me asking, how did you decide on a goal weight of 260-280? I'm also 5'8", and my doctor suggested I aim for 140-160.

I love how my face AND your face looks so much more defined. I look at my old pictures and I didn't realize how much rounder my face really looked until now. I've been off Terz for a month now and I've been able to keep the weight off. Just sharing in case anyone is worried about coming off, particularly due to cost. I'm trying to stay active (I just retired!), still have Greek yogurt with fruit every morning, am careful with my carbs, and drink tons of water. I eat normal food for dinner, just smaller amounts. I hope these meds get cheaper in a couple of years, and become easier for all of us to get. I'm planning to go back on a low dose in the spring so I can stay at 160#, or maybe lose another 10# before summer. This whole weight loss thing has been great! I'm proud of everyone!

Congrats! It's weird to look at old pictures and see how big my head looked 😂 Keep up the awesome work!

I managed to shed about 40-50 pounds, but had to stop because of the expense. Unfortunately, it all came back within half a year!!

I thought it was a miracle when I first started, but didn't find the higher doses did much extra.

Best of luck with your weight loss!

Seeing this makes me think about my own journey... it's been almost a year since I started sema. I was around 325, now I'm about 220. It's work, but so worth it. The best part is learning to appreciate yourself. When you do, you make better choices. You treat your body better.

Everyone's body composition is different! Don't feel like you HAVE to match your doc's suggestion exactly. Focus on feeling healthy and energetic!

It's so interesting to see before/after pics. I've lost about 45 pounds since April, and while I *know* I'm smaller, it's hard to SEE it. Maybe I need to take new photos for comparison!

I agree with Drew14, loving yourself is a big part of it. It makes you WANT to treat yourself better. It becomes less about forcing yourself and more about wanting to. The meds helped me get there!
