Face gains! Before & After

Hey everyone, I wanted to show off my before and after pics. Sometimes I can't believe it's the same person. Back when I weighed the most, I was about 245 pounds, that was like 6 or 7 years ago. When I started on whatever GLP-1 a year and a half ago, I was around 225. It took about 10 months to lose about 90 pounds, and I lowered my dose from 10mg to 2.5mg. After stopping the medication in August, I started enjoying myself a little too much and regained like 10 pounds. I freaked out. I started tracking my calories and exercising more regularly. Now I'm steady around 138, right in the middle of the healthy BMI range. Weekends can be indulgent, but I reel it back during the week and make sure to eat enough protein. It's been a wild ride, but I'm grateful for the medication, it helped me regain control. Sending good vibes to everyone, you've got this! 👊
 
You really do look different. And you look so happy and full of life in the more recent picture. That's fantastic!

For me, the hardest part was definitely the initial cravings. I found that focusing on protein and drinking a ton of water really helped. I also made sure to get some sort of movement in every day, even if it was just a walk. Consistency is key!
 
Posts like these are so inspiring. I'm only like 2 months into my journey, but I know it's going to be a long one. It's good to see people achieving their goals!
