Face Gains!

I was kind of bummed about my weight reducing progress since it's been pretty slow over the last year. But looking at a recent picture next to one from 3 years ago has cheered me up. Just went up to 15mg, so hoping to see better results now. I'd also probably benefit from being a little more active, haha.

The fact that you can joke about the activity part says you're doing better mentally than you realize. You've made awesome progress already. Slower doesn't mean stopped.

Sometimes the scale is stubborn but the visual changes tell a different story. A three year difference is major, even if it feels like hard work lately.

You didn't get this far to give up. You've proven you can and will keep changing!

Try adding even just a little walking, like a block or two each day. That can become more, and before you know it, you're walking a mile or two. It's also therapeutic, honestly. That's what helped me the most when I dropped 120 pounds. It kept the weight loss happening, and it's the only exercise I did then and still do now, three years later.

I found an old snapshot of myself from before MJ. I was huge!

You look fantastic! Keep it up. When I got to 15mg, the extra weight started melting off.

You look fantastic. I'm not at 15mg yet. I've been on 5 since last fall and still seeing results. About 45 down, another 35 or so to go. Hoping it starts really working well for you!

I just started a couple of weeks ago. I'm going into week 7, and I'm hoping I'll finally start seeing a big difference. I'm not happy about the cold and insomnia, especially since I'm not seeing much weight loss. Does it get better?

Stick with it! Some people don't really see results until around the second month. Just remember that it's not magic – you still need to adjust your eating habits for the medication to be truly effective.
